Pretty Pokets vegan leather, designer diaper bags meet every need of the busy mom. As a mom of two little ones, I need my hands free and my mind at ease that my bag has everything I may need in it, ready to go, at all times.
As I sit here with my baby girl one thought comes to mind... HOW is she so big already?! Tears flowing. I have realized with this little baby being my second the real necessities needed to make my days a bit easier. I tend to ride the minimalism wave so for me there are just a few things I find extra helpful.
When we found out we were pregnant with our little girl we knew we wanted to attempt a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). I looked high and low to find an OB who would look at my case.
It was April 13th, 2017 and we were over the moon to go to our first 8 week appointment with the OB we had chosen, the one whom we had spent hours researching, making sure he was a good fit for us. We were excited, nervous, but mostly ecstatic that we were having another baby.
Traveling usually is and can be exhausting, especially when you're flying with littles. Our little world traveler has been to North Carolina quite a few times along with flying to India and South Africa in his two short years so we've had to have some things up our sleeves when we travel with him.
A little idea hit me a few weeks ago.. Why not go camping in Giant Forest and check off some bucket list items while we're at it? Technically it was a birthday trip for the whole fam.. we went to San Fran and Lake Tahoe last year. I'm hoping we keep this adventure birthday thing up for a while...
This is where we recharge before the week ahead. There are few things as fun for our little family like a good ole beach day where we miss the crowds and just happen to pack enough food for our ever growing toddler. I'm thankful for where we are and who I get to do life with. They are just the best.
Keeping plants alive has proven to be a challenge in our home. Maybe that's just because of LA apartment life or maybe it's just that green thumb that I seriously may not have... sorry momma.
We recently visited family on the east coast. My family lives there in the same small town I grew up in. It is sweet southern charm at it's best. Everyone greets you with a smile and the phrase "slow living" doesn't even compare to how slow life can actually feel there.
Last spring some of our family were hanging out and the idea of planning a trip back to the Swarts roots in South Africa popped into our minds. We started to think about all the best times to go, making sure we could get it in before Ren turned 2.
