I'm Jamie, curator of Mellow Mondays. This journey to health found me in 2012 when my sister was diagnosed with Crohns disease. As a family we decided to seek out alternative thoughts, ideas and practices to help her not only achieve remission, but ultimately wellness and fullness of health. We met our naturopathic doctor and now dear friend who encouraged our path to find healing through food. We gave up every part of the standard American diet with her and watched wellness rise and inflammation decrease through living foods and beneficial supplements.
I am a nurse by trade and some days I am not sure how that happened since I have always been into all things natural. With a strong desire to eat clean and take care of this one body I’ve been given is where Mellow Mondays was born. This space is an open book into our slow journey of finding what works for us and sharing the process….
